About This Character
The epitome of worry and fussiness, owing to his unique design in which etiquette and proper protocol were of primary concern, C-3PO was a humanoid droid whose communicative abilities encompassed over six million different "languages." Never far from his counterpart, R2-D2, also a droid but with uniquely separate skills, the pair were either witness to, or participants in, numerous "game-changing" galactic events.
At one point, C-3PO was completely dismantled and stripped of his internal workings on Tatooine, only to be salvaged and rebuilt to his unique specifications by the human slave and later Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker.
In later years, C-3PO's invaluable skills made him much in demand among many parties, including Ambassadors and Royal Families. Always impeccably polite and diplomatic, C-3PO was also, on occasion, capable of blistering sarcasm and vitriol, although one characteristic that never wavered was his aversion to physical violence, from which he customarily fled at the slightest opportunity.
